Comfort & Redemption

The Holy Spirit is the deposit of our redemption. God will come back to redeem us and is redeeming us every day by the Holy Spirit that He has placed inside each one of us. The Holy Spirit is our comforter, and we take comfort in the knowledge that God has not left us and that we are in a continual position of redemption; actively becoming more like Christ every day.
Redemption: deliverance, rescue, deliverance from sin, atonement for guilt and repurchase.
Ephesians 1: 13 -14; And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession-to the praise of his glory. (NIV)
Ephesians 1:13-14; And now you also have heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago. The Spirit is God's guarantee that he will give us everything he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. This is just one more reason for us to praise our glorious God. (NLT)

Oct 4, 2009, Word of the Lord, New Covenant Church

I am the Lord, I am the Lord who abides
Reign, I reign in your life
Give yourself to Me today
allow me to reign, allow me to reign
I want you, I want you, as much as you love me, I want you even more
Let me reign in your life today
Give it all over to me no matter what it is
No matter what you think,
no matter what man says
Give it all over to me for I am your God
I am the one who healeth thee
I am the one that blesseth thee
I am the one that giveth unto thee
I bless you, I Love you, I love you, I Love you with all that it is within me
I love you today, hear me oh my people
I love you today
I want for you more than you could ever want for yourselves
I want for you more than you could ever imagine
But you have to give your adversaries over to me
you have to give your hope and desires over to me
And let me reign in your life, allow me to reign in your life, allow me to reign in your life

How I deal with fear

How I deal with fear...Sticky notes, yes, I had to write down a sticky note and put it prominently on my desk...
"Is this thought truth?"
"Does this thought line up with the Word of God?"
Then I have to purposely think of something else, normally how much God loves me, for instance, If I told you not to think of a red bouncing ball I doubt you would be able to get rid of the image of a red bouncing ball...red bouncing ball...red bouncing ball...
I normally meditate on Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Wow, now I can meditate and think about how much God loves me and has my best in mind. And the fear leaves.

No construction workers were put in danger during the writing of this blog.

Worship

"The sound and joy of My people worshipping Me, in complete trust and surrender, putting their trust and worry in My hands, where those things should be. Come to Me, come to the waters of healing and salvation, run, run freely in My presence. Be worshippers, be worshippers in every sense of the word. Be worshippers in every sense of the word of God."

Voluntary Heart Exposure...

The test of voluntary exposure is the litmus test of one's heart. John 3:21-22, “ They hate the light because they want to sin in the darkness. They stay away from the light for fear their sins will be exposed and they will be punished. But those who do what is right come to the light gladly, so everyone can see that they are doing what God wants."
Is there anything in your heart or life that is a secret? Are you willing to voluntarily turn and reveal your heart, attitudes, actions, and life for others to speak into, to bring correction and discipline to if needed?
What is God putting His finger on in your life that must be exposed to His light, His heart, His love, and His correction?
I have to love correction more than my own selfish, independent self.
I have to voluntarily drop my guard to allow others the safety and opportunity to speak into my life.

James 5:16, "Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results."

Marriage...Two becoming One

I have made a (married) couple one one in each other and one in Me (God). When one falls, the other person can pick the one who has fallen up again. Allow yourself to be picked up, allow yourself to be helped, wow to the person who has no one to help him when he or she falls.
Genesis 2:24, This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.

Psalm 23, I shall not want, Part 2

"I shall not want" With an endless barrage of commercials, newspaper ads, and mailouts telling me what I need to purchase to make me happy and content, it's hard not to want. I will not want because I do not lack. I have everything I need to be content because my contentment and sustainment comes from my Shepherd, Jesus Christ. My Shepherd compared contentment to the flowers of the earth, noting that they lacked nothing and that their Shepherd cared and supplied for their life's necessities. And that if God cared enough to take care of the birds, He will abundantly care for and take care of me! Matthew 6:28 - 31, "And why worry about your clothes? Look at the lilies and how they grow. They don't work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, won't he more surely care for you? You have so little faith! So don't worry about having enough food or drink or clothing."

Questions:
  • What was God's role in your last major purchase? What would you have done differently?
  • Make a mental list of how God has provided for you and begin to thank him throughout your week.
  • Do I need to increase my tithes and offerings?
  • Pray and ask the Shepherd what he wants you to do with your next offering. An offering is an amount above and beyond your normal tithe. Perhaps this could be decided as a family project.
  • Go through your closets and donate at least one bag of items to your local Goodwill.

Meditation:
My Shepherd abundantly cares for all of my life's necessities. Dear Shepherd, thank you that you have provided for all of life's necessities. I do not want because I do not lack. You are my provider and sustainer of my life. My life is in your hands and you will provide what I need. Teach me to come to you when I am in need and to hear and obey your voice when it comes to making purchases. I tithe and I have an abundance of blessings from the throne room of grace.

Psalm 23 reflections: The Lord is my shepherd, Part 1

Reflections on the 23rd Psalm: "The Lord is my shepherd"
The Lord is my shepherd, that means I'm not in charge. I'm not leading the way, I am a sheep. I am a follower of the Shepherd (Jesus). I trust in the direction of my shepherd and his will for my life. I must learn to recognize the voice of my master in the dark when I can't see his leading. I must trust in his commandments. My shepherd knows the way and path that I must take because he has traveled down the path before me. He knows how to toughen my feet and fortitude for the upcoming journey. Their may be false shepherd voices in my life calling me to false paths and destinations but I must learn to follow and recognize my shepherd's voice and leading. My shepherd cares for me and he has loved me enough to lay down and sacrifice his life for mine. I and the shepherd are one and I love my shepherd. My shepherd loves me, cares for me, and is intently conerned with my well-being.
Questions:
Have I acknowledged my need for a shepherd (Jesus)?
Have I allowed my shepherd, Kingship and Lordship in my life?
Have I allowed any false shepherds (the world, false thoughts, etc...) to distract me this week?
Meditation:
Chief Shepherd, I acknowledge you as Lord and Shepherd in my life. I trust in the way you are leading me. I trust in your leadership and guidance in my life. I purposely tune out any false voices in my life (false thoughts, media, t.v., people, etc...) that try to distract me from your voice and from the path you have laid out for me to journey.

Obedience is tied to love

Immanuel, you have made it possible for me to know your incredible love - the same love you have for your Father and he for you. Help me to obey you so that I may experience the depth of your love as I learn to sink my roots in you. John 15:9-12 (Praying the Names of Jesus Journal by Ann Spangler).

Obedience is tied to love. We live in a world of few rules and open disobedience and rebellion. Jesus said that if we love Him we will obey His commands. The more we learn to obey the more we love and trust in Christ. Obedience is always a decision of our will and fortitude. Don't base obedience on a feeling but on the power of the word of God. Learn to obey out of love, not out of religion. Jesus obeyed out of His personal relationship with his Father (God). Jesus had complete trust in what the Father required of Him so obedience was a matter of a heartful trust based on a love and trusting relationship with his father. Our obedience should be based on that same love and trust relationship with our heavenly Father. Learn to develop a trustful relationship with God and allow His commands to be obeyed through you based on your trusting relationship with Him.

Tuning out the noise of the world

"Learn to block out the noise of the world. Noise and idle distraction will always compete for My (God's) attention. I am the still small voice, I am the thunder, the burning bush. Learn to listen in the solitude of your heart. Contemplate, meditate, but above all listen. Listen to My (God's) voice, it is speaking. I am looking for and desiring a people that will listen to and heed and obey My (God's) voice."
1 Kings 19:12: And after the earthquake there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire there was the sound of a gentle whisper.

"My willingness to give of myself"

"What you are willing to give your life for says who you are."
Who will you rescue, love, and encourage today?
Who have I laid my life down for this week?
1 John 3:11, 16 - 18 & 4:7 - 8, For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. By this we know love, that he (Jesus) laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

4:7-8, Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

"Willful obedience"

Jesus, "My pleasure comes from my willful obedience to my Father and His commands. I live to please and choose to please my Father."

A small child takes great delight in obeying his father's commands because he knows that his father has his best interest in heart. Do we put that same amount of trust and confidence in our willingness and desire to please our heavenly Father?

As a father, I except my children to instantly and happily obey me. Shouldan't our heavenly father expect the same level of trust and obedience in us. Sometimes we don't take into consideration that our heavenly Father has our best interest in mind.

Is it harder sometimes to trust God if we have an off-balanced, skewed view of our earthly fathers?

God's passionate pursuit for us!

So often I think that when we picture God we picture God on a throne in Heaven, at least I do, or did. But what I've been sensing lately is that God is in this mad, passionate pursuit for us. That He loves us so much that He is willing to into circumstance that He needs to in order to rescue us from anything that we may have gotten into. God is willing to offer any sacrifice, the sacrifice of His only Son, Jesus Christ, on a cross, for our sins, so that we could have unbridled fellowship and relationship with Him. Yes, God never violates our free will but He is always there, looking for us to accept Him, if we will just open our eyes and our hearts to see Him and accept Him into our hearts and lives.
Luke 15:3-7; So Jesus told them this story: “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he will joyfully carry it home on his shoulders. When he arrives, he will call together his friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep.’ In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away!

Luke 15:17-24; When he finally came to his senses, he said to himself, ‘At home even the hired servants have food enough to spare, and here I am dying of hunger! I will go home to my father and say, “Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you, and I am no longer worthy of being called your son. Please take me on as a hired servant.”’
“So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him. His son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you, and I am no longer worthy of being called your son.
“But his father said to the servants, ‘Quick! Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him. Get a ring for his finger and sandals for his feet. And kill the calf we have been fattening. We must celebrate with a feast, for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found.’ So the party began.

Step 1: God's Purpose: Peace and LifeGod loves you and wants you to experience peace and life—abundant and eternal. The Bible says ..."We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." —Romans 5:1 (NIV)"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." —John 3:16 (NIV)"I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." —John 10:10 (NIV)

Step 2: The Problem: Our Separation
God created us in His own image to have an abundant life. He did not make us as robots to automatically love and obey Him. God gave us a will and a freedom of choice. We chose to disobey God and go our own willful way. We still make this choice today. This results in separation from GodThe Bible says ..."For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." —Romans 3:23 (NIV)"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." —Romans 6:23 (NIV)

Step 3: God's Bridge: The CrossJesus Christ died on the Cross and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap between God and people. The Bible says ..."For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ." —1 Timothy 2:5 (NIV)"For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God." —1 Peter 3:18 (NIV)"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." —Romans 5:8 (NIV)God has provided the only way. Each person must make a choice.

Step 4: Our Response: Receive ChristWe must trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and receive Him by personal invitation. The Bible says ..."Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." —Revelation 3:20 (NIV)"Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." —John 1:12 (NIV)"That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." —Romans 10:9 (NIV)
Where are you? Will you receive Jesus Christ right now? Here is how you can receive Christ:1. Admit your need (I am a sinner).2. Be willing to turn from your sins (repent).3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the grave.4. Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit.

(Receive Him as Lord and Savior.)

Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Savior.
In Jesus' name. Amen.

Are we prepared to meet with God on a continual basis?

I prepare myself to meet with you. Just as a mother prepares her daughter to get ready to go to church (hair, dress, makeup, etc...) I prepare myself to meet with you. Are you prepared to meet with Me? The table is set, my agenda is cleared for you, every day, every day! Make the time, ready and prepare yourself to meet with Me. Tell others, the time is drawing near, meet and fellowship with Me while there is still time.
As I was in church this morning, I saw a mother and daughter come into church together and I felt God communicated the following message to me. How is your prep time prior to meeting with God? Are you in a hurry, unprepared? How would you feel if you had a set meeting time with an important government official or a hero of yours? We have the awesome opportunity to meet with our Almighty, Awesome Father and we squander the opportunity by failing to meet with Him or we hurry through our time together with Him.

Am I running away from God?

“Over and over, like the Israelites, who went round and round and round in circles trying to find satisfaction in everything but me (God). Occasionally, there have been people who have forsaken everything to follow and obey me. What I am looking for are an entire people who will forsake all of the world’s trappings and entanglements to follow me. I am looking for a Bride complete in Me (God).
Why do we believe the lie of “Worldly Satisfaction” apart from God?
We think what we cling to of the world is gold, but it is actually rubbish; fool’s gold. Don’t spend your life collecting fool’s gold and miss the real splendor, majesty, and holiness of God’s presence.
We may not physically leave our Father’s side, but sometimes we have left His side, in a spiritual sense, to chase other passions and pursuits away and apart from God.
Is there anything in my life that causes me to leave God’s side or causes us to run away from His presence in disobedience to any of God’s commands?

THE STORY OF THE PRODIGAL SON:

Luke 15:11-32: And he said, "There was a man who had two sons. 12And the younger of them said to his father, 'Father, give me the share of property that is coming to me.' And he divided his property between them. 13Not many days later, the younger son gathered all he had and took a journey into a far country, and there he squandered his property in reckless living. 14And when he had spent everything, a severe famine arose in that country, and he began to be in need. 15So he went and hired himself out to one of the citizens of that country, who sent him into his fields to feed pigs. 16And he was longing to be fed with the pods that the pigs ate, and no one gave him anything.
17"But when he came to himself, he said, 'How many of my father’s hired servants have more than enough bread, but I perish here with hunger! 18I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Treat me as one of your hired servants."' 20And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him. 21And the son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.' 22But the father said to his servants, 'Bring quickly the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet. 23And bring the fattened calf and kill it, and let us eat and celebrate. 24For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.' And they began to celebrate.
25"Now his older son was in the field, and as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. 26And he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. 27And he said to him, 'Your brother has come, and your father has killed the fattened calf, because he has received him back safe and sound.' 28But he was angry and refused to go in. His father came out and entreated him, 29but he answered his father, 'Look, these many years I have served you, and I never disobeyed your command, yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might celebrate with my friends. 30But when this son of yours came, who has devoured your property with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him!' 31And he said to him, 'Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours. 32It was fitting to celebrate and be glad, for this your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found.'"

We may not physically leave our Father’s side, but sometimes we have left His side, in a spiritual sense, to chase other passions and pursuits away and apart from God.

Is there anything in my life that causes me to leave God’s side or causes us to run away from His presence in disobedience to any of God’s commands?

Willing conformity to the image of Jesus...

“Yes, man’s life is like a vapor. But watch and see what I can do with a vapor. My servant, John the Baptist’ life was like a vapor. But he paved the way for my Son, Jesus Christ. Allow me to blow you into the darkness allowing my Son’s light to shine through you into the darkness. It’s not quantity, but quality. Allow your life to shine forth in the darkness. The light of my love in you cannot be extinguished."

Psalm 39:4-5 Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered, how fleeting my life is. You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand. My entire lifetime is just a moment to you; at best, each of us is but a breath.”

Vapor: The state of a substance that exists below its critical temperature and that may be liquefied by application of sufficient pressure.

Allow God’s pressure to conform you into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ. A vapor is a substance that is moldable into the image that exerts the greatest pressure on it. Who is exerting the greatest pressure on your life? Is it the world or God? Whoever you allow to exert the greatest pressure on you, will shape you into that image for their usage. Don’t think that you can allow the world to exert pressure on you and that you will not conform into the world’s image to be used for the world’s purpose. Instead, allow the molding and pressure of God to shape you into that which he has created you and valued you to become; to be used for His glory and purpose on the earth. Only then will you be what you were created and destined to become.
Jeremiah 29:11-12; For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

In the hand of the Potter

Oh, how I have longed to mold you and shape you into the image of my son, Jesus Christ. But, before I can place you upon the potter’s wheel, I must pick up the broken shards of your life that are lying on the ground. Allow me to gently pick you up, gather you unto myself and mold you together. Then I can place you on the potter’s wheel and gently mold you into the image you were meant to be. Allow my Holy Spirit to place you onto the potter’s wheel. You were designed for a purpose and a destiny in me. Allow yourself to be willingly placed on my potter’s wheel.

Isaiah 64:8; And yet, Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We are all formed by your hand.
Jeremiah 18:1-6; The LORD gave another message to Jeremiah. He said, "Go down to the shop where clay pots and jars are made. I will speak to you while you are there." So I did as he told me and found the potter working at his wheel. But the jar he was making did not turn out as he had hoped, so the potter squashed the jar into a lump of clay and started again. Then the LORD gave me this message: "O Israel, can I not do to you as this potter has done to his clay? As the clay is in the potter's hand, so are you in my hand."

We are all innkeepers...

We are all innkeepers…

Jesus said: "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. 'Look after him,' he said, 'and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have. "Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?" The expert in the law replied, "The one who had mercy on him." Jesus told him, "Go and do likewise."
The innkeeper had his inn on a lonely stretch of road, in a very dangerous place. An innkeeper is responsible for bandaging up, helping out, and listening to those that God brings our way. We pour out our lives, tell our stories, and wait for those we wait on to get better. Sometimes those that we have helped out and poured into leave; that is okay, perhaps they were meant to be in our life for a short time, perhaps, they too, are called to the life of an innkeeper. An innkeeper is a lonely but fulfilling life, We won't get fully paid in this lifetime, but our payment will be enough when we see Jesus, our Innkeeper, who found us on a lonely stretch of road, on the way to nowhere, who took us in, bandaged us up, and committed Himself to us until we were well enough to live again.
Many thanks to Ruth Patterson, from Ireland, who related this passage of scripture to us at Saint Simons, Georgia, April, 2008.

Marriage, the sacredness of becoming one

Yes, I have called you one, one in spirit, one in truth, one in my son Jesus Christ. How can two walk together unless they are in agreement; they can’t, or they will stumble. You have been called one before the foundation of the world, it’s planned out for you to walk in total agreement and purpose with one another, don’t forsake that which I have called you into, a sacred, loving trust of two people coming together as one, a mystery that represents my relationship with my Son Jesus Christ and the precious Holy Spirit. You represent me, I represent you; walk as one.

Ephesians 5:31-32;
"For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

The free gift of forgiveness...

"Forgiveness is easy for you (to ask me) because it cost me everything, my Son, Jesus, a willing vessel for your salvation. A gift that costs' nothing is not a gift. My gift (Jesus dying on the cross for you) cost everything, that is why the gift, eternal fellowship with me, is freely given for you to take. take my son, take our gift of eternal fellowship."
Romans 6:23; For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
The word "gift" in the Greek is
Charisma
"a favor with which one receives without any merit of his own."

Questions to ask yourself when reading the Bible

What is revealed about God in this story? What is revealed about God’s heart in this story towards you?
What character do you relate to the most in the story? Why?
In what ways do you relate to each of the different characters found in the story, whether protagonists or antagonists?
What might God be speaking to you through this story? What do you think God might be trying to affirm in you about who you are as His child through this story?
What areas of life may God be calling you to move forward in?
What sin areas may there be in your life that God is using this story to cause you to confess?
How do you think this story might cause you to more fully experience the healing, freedom, and life Jesus came to offer us?
What does this passage say? Because of what it says, what do I need to change in my thoughts or actions to align with the truth presented in the story?

Run to God

"Run, run to me My child, run to your Father, my heart is always ready to receive you, bursting for your fellowship, for your presence. Waiting for your shadow to enter the doorway of My throne room. Run to me with your praise, with your petitions, with your requests. Oh that you would spend time in My presence, the more time you spend, the closer you get, the more of My heart you are able to receive. Receive My presence, receive My joy, receive the promises I have for you. Be like a child that longs and takes joy in sitting in the lap of their father. My joy cannot be contained for the joy and love and excitement I have for you. " META CONTENT="Top10" NAME="Ranking"/>

Wide-Eyed Anticipation

Yes, I have charted your course, your destiny, but their is freedom for you to use your gifts, to partner alongside others who are discovering and using their gifts for the first time. The journey is not one of drudgery, but of joy, solitude, and excitement. Be excited to use the gifts I have placed inside you. Be like a child on Christmas morning, hardly being unable to contain their excitement on the gifts they are about to open. Be that excited, be like a child, yes, be like a child. Wide-eyed anticipation of how I am about to use you and my gifts I have placed inside you.

Your life is like a vapor

More to come...

Speak your words of destiny that God has already declared over your life!

“Before I created creation I fell in love with you. I (God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit) set all of your days that are before you. We created you, as unique as you are; we set and declared your destiny. Walk in that which has been set before you, declare that which has been declared for you, before you were born. Agree with your Creator. You are unique because you were created in My image, in My glory, for My purpose.”
God has written out your destiny with a purpose. (Psalm 139:16; You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed). However, God declares out loud that which He has planned out for you (Genesis 1:3; Then God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.) We also need to declare with our heart and with our mouth that which God has already declared over us before we were even born. Speak your destiny that aligns with God’s word. Declare the words that God has already declared over you.
“I thank you God that you have made me with a vision and purpose for my life. Thank you that you have set my feet on a high place above my enemies. I thank you that you love me with an everlasting love that will continue for eternity. I thank you that you and I are one and that you hear me when I make my requests to you.”
Psalm 139: 15-18; You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God! They are innumerable! I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up in the morning, you are still with me!

Learning to abide in the continual presence of God

Your name is written on the very palms of my hand. I am in constant awareness and fellowship with you; you must learn to plug into my thoughts and love I have for you. Just as it is impossible for a nursing mother to forget her newborn so it is impossible for me to forget you. Your name is written in an expression of love on my hands, hands that were crucified, nails run through, so we could walk hand in hand in fellowship and love for one another. Come take my hand and heart, it's yours. Your heavenly Father.
Isaiah 49:16; Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of My hands; thy walls are continually before Me.
Psalm 40:5; Many, O Lord my God, are the wonderful works which You have done, and Your thoughts toward us; no one can compare with You! If I should declare and speak of them, they are too many to be numbered
Revelation 2:17; He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, with a new name written on the stone that no one knows except the one who receives it.

Just come to Jesus

No more secrets, no more secrets in your life, I know everything that is in your heart before it bubbles to the surface. Don't be like the Pharisees that tried to hide behind a veil of religion. Instead, come freely to the fountain; be like the woman with the issue of blood that struggled over and over again for years. She finally found release when she came to Jesus, sickness and all, and declared, "If I can just touch Jesus in my pitiful condition, I will, I will be healed." Don't wait to get better, don't try to fix it yourself, but come now to Jesus.
There are times in life when we face issues and circumstances we can't fix ourselves, when all we can do is to come to Jesus; that's fine; just come to Jesus and get "your expected fix" out of your mind and let God determine the fix and outcome.
Matthew 9:20-22: And behold, a woman who had suffered from a discharge of blood for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment, for she said to herself, "If I only touch his garment, I will be made well." Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, "Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well."And instantly the woman was made well.

Messiah

February 22, 2009
"Messiah" everything in its entirety is defined in My Son, "Messiah." From the creation of the world, before light sprang on the earth, the plan, "Messiah," was put in place. You are so special and esteemed in my eyes and in my heart that I would give up my best gift, Jesus, for the gift of your relationship, your sonship and daughtership to my kingdom and heart. You can ask, ask, I've already given the most costly gift that could ever be given, ask and I will fully give.

We (God and us) should be so connected to one another and my Spirit that we should live in a continuous state, manner, and posture of prayer. My Holy Spirit is moving upon the earth, orchestrating events in people’s lives. Allow the Holy Spirit to allow you to be the creative arm in people’s lives. Just as God spoke in the beginning, the very words and essence of Christ, and then the Holy Spirit began to move and create. Allow the words of my Spirit to flow through, to move you to act, work, and create on My behalf. Be attuned to my Spirit, my Spirit of change and construction here on the earth. Put on your hard hat and grab your megaphone and get to work. "

"Do Not Disturb"

"Come into My dwelling, come into My house. I knock on the door of your heart, desiring to come in that we may fellowship together, break bread together. Don't let the sound and worries of the world drown out my knock. Don't let a line of things gather at your heart's door knocking for your attention. Put a 'Do not disturb' sign on your heart's door and mean it. The longer I stay, the more I can share and impart to you my child."
Revelation 3:20 "Look! Here I stand at the door and knock. If you hear me calling and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal as friends."
God will not compete for your heart's attention; He is God. I saw a picture of things (worries, things that compete for my heart's attention) standing at the door of my heart in a long line and than I saw Jesus come to the door and after seeing the crowds I saw him walk away. Jesus will not compete for our attention.
Matthew 6:21 "Wherever your treasure is, there your heart and thoughts will also be."

January 15, 2009...Words....

Today's impressions from God... " I desire to be everything to you. I am God. I desire and expect no less. You are complete in Me. How can two walk unless they are in complete agreement with me? That is why my Son, Jesus, said you could ask and receive because you are not asking on your own behalf but you are asking on my behalf and I can't deny myself, my word, and my Son. Keep asking, keep receiving and keep walking in my love for you.
Your heavenly Father,
Abba"

I think we all struggle at times with the image of God because of our relationships with our natural fathers...
"I am there with every father, walking, nudging, and offering advice. But not everyone listens. Be a listener, be a learner, be a watcher. Look quickly, I am there walking with you, talking with you, being a father to you. Let me be your father.
Abba
I love you"

Many thanks to Ruth Patterson, from Ireland, who related this passage of scripture to us at Saint Simons, Georgia.
Hi everyone; I would like to share with you some recent words from God that I believe that He has given me. I am not saying "Thus saith the Lord" but merely impressions that I felt God has been sharing with me lately...

I look over the earth looking for a place to dwell that I may place My Spirit there, that prosperity may arise in your land that your land, that your women and men may not be barren, that your land may produce, that your children would rise up and call you blessed, that your dwelling may be secure and upright that My light might shine to you through the nations, that My Son Jesus Christ would be highly, highly exalted in your land.

Dec 7, 2008:
As the mountains flow so I have designed and created your life for a purpose. Get eagle vision. Be able to soar with Me above the clouds to be able to see the direction and magnitude of your life and calling. I don’t want you to be surprised, we’re friends, come with me, higher and higher. As a river flows, your life is designed with a specific course in mind. Come with Me and I will show you your life’s direction, purpose, and flow. For in Me, you will find your life’s direction, flow, and purpose.
(The higher you are, the clearer you can see the direction of the river. Perhaps a river may flow into an ocean, or become a dam eventually. When your flowing in the river, you can’t tell what direction your intimately going or your ultimate direction. The higher you get, the clearer you can see the big picture.)
*Expect the Lord to show you the direction of your life.

Dec 14, 2008:
“You are holy because of what my Son Jesus Christ did for you, the divine exchange, your filthiness for My holiness, come, enter in, you are holy, nothing you have done on your own but the simple exclamation of your faith, “Jesus is Lord.” When I look at you, I look at a pure, spotless, spotless bride, enter into My presence. The exclamation of your voice and belief in your heart makes you worthy, enter in son, enter in daughter, enter into My presence.

Dec 16, 2008:
“I am so much larger than your perspective, I am so much bigger than you could ever see or imagine. But I came down to earth through my Son Jesus Christ so you could experience my richness of love for you, so you could begin to fathom the depth and love and feeling I have for you. For you are mine, fathomed before the foundation of the earth for my glory, to carry my glory. Come up with Me so we can reign, fellowship, experience friendship and be together.”

February 11, 2007 (New Covenant Church: not verbatim)
"I am the designer, I am the master architect. I've laid out pages out of my design; for each of you is called to be part of my design and work. Each of you have tools, hammer, saw, chalk lines, overseers, inspectors, they all fit in my coordinated plan. Dust off your tools to build and not to destroy. My house will be built on a firm foundation. Every one of you are valuable to me, every one of you have a particular job. Be sensitive to my spirit in the job I have for each of you.

It wasn't out of a sense or obligation of duty I fellowship with people but because I desire to be among them. I like people, each person is unique and special, each person has my Father's DNA. My Father is the true Father, the True Creator. You have my spiritual lineage, you are a royal priesthood, part of a royal bloodline, you have the blood of your creator Father.
